Nike Dunks may have been the Taylor Swift of sneakers last year, surging in popularity and earning No. 1 rankings at retailers like Nike and StockX, among others. The most popular colorway in the Dunk has been the black and white, which is commonly known as “the Panda.” Though the Panda has been all but elusive in availability when shopping online these past few months, one major retailer just got a massive restock—and sizes are already flying.

The Nike Panda Dunks for men are back in stock at Nordstrom. Ranging in sizes from 6 to 15, the Panda features an old-school color combination that dates back to ’80s basketball and has been slowly creeping its way into Nike’s Mount Rushmore of sneakers. At Nordstrom, they’ve earned a solid 4-star rating after more than 100 reviews and are the bestselling sneaker for men out of more than 2,800 styles.

The Nike Dunk is a relatively simple style for the brand. An updated lace-up court sneaker that’s now worn anywhere but, the Panda model features a stark contrast of black and white leather for the upper, a white rubber midsole, and a full-length black rubber outsole. It’s a subdued colorway that looks great with any everyday outfit but isn’t immune to its share of criticism.

Some sneakerheads have taken to TikTok to crown the Panda Dunks as one of the worst sneakers of all time. Don’t be alarmed—they’re still a great shoe to wear. However, some feel the sneaker’s popularity has oversaturated the market and made them less cool.

Regardless, shoppers continue to turn to the Nike Panda Dunks as their go-to sneaker—when they can find their size. “Bought these for my teenage son. He’s been wanting them, but his size was always sold out,” one shopper said. “He loves the way they look and I love the quality of the shoe. Great purchase and so happy I can always count on Nordstrom to carry a lot of the ‘hard-to-find’ items I shop for.”

The sneaker that rocked the world last year is poised to do the same in 2024, which means if you want to grab your pair of Nike Panda Dunks while they’re still in stock at Nordstrom, you need to do it ASAP. They will sell out quickly, so if your size is still available, pull the trigger.
