Summer tourism season is about to kick into high gear, and passengers are weighing a bevy of options as they balance price, amenities, and overall airline reputation while booking their flights. Thankfully, a new study from J.D. Power has answers about which North American airlines customers are enjoying the most.

The company surveyed 9,582 airline passengers who had traveled in the last month between March 2023 and March 2024 for its annual Customer Satisfaction Survey. The results are split in to three categories: First/Business Class, Premium Economy Class, and Economy/Basic Economy Class.

Delta Air Lines came in first in the former two categories, earning top marks from customers and even leapfrogging JetBlue in the First/Business Class category compared to last year. Meanwhile, Southwest dominated in the Economy/Basic Economy Class category, with Delta Air Lines in second place and Allegiant Air in third.
