Survey Finds These Are the Top U.S. Cities for Threesomes, Open Relationships
A recent survey named the top U.S. cities for threesomes and open relationships. 3Fun, which describes itself as “the world’s leading dating app for sexually free singles and partners to meet like-minded people,” profiled its users to determine the cities where the highest number of Americans are engaging in open relationships and/or threesomes.
The list was dominated by major metropolitan areas, with New York City topping the chart. Miami entered the ranks for the first time, ranking ninth. Its inclusion indicates that threesomes and open relationships are becoming increasingly popular in the coastal metropolis. 3Fun also noted that Miami is the app’s “fastest-growing city in terms of number of users.”
Los Angeles, CA came in second on the list, while Houston, TX took the third spot. Chicago and Las Vegas rounded out the top five.
“This data underscores the growing acceptance and normalization of diverse relationship structures across major U.S. cities,” 3Fun’s founder and CEO, Max Ma, said in a press release. “Our mission at 3Fun is to empower individuals to embrace their sexuality, and we’re glad to see major cities supporting everyone’s right to.”
3Fun boasts nearly three million users worldwide, one million of them in the U.S. It’s estimated that 300,000 of those users are partners using the platform’s couple accounts feature.
