Apparently, not everyone knows who Travis and Jason Kelce are. During Monday night’s episode of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter was one of three celebrities left baffled when the Kelces showed up as an answer. She appeared alongside fashion designer Christian Siriano and Schitt’s Creek actor Sarah Levy, daughter of Eugene Levy.

As her winnings rose higher and higher, Ritter improbably guessed each of the letters to the answer “Travis and Jason Kelce” even while shrugging her shoulders and phrasing each letter as a question. After agonizing over her decision, Ritter properly named the K, C, and E in Kelce. But the answer didn’t make any more sense to the contestants once they saw it in full.

“No one here watches football,” Levy cracked of her confused co-panelists. But she at least seemed to have some passing knowledge of the Kelce’s. Ritter, on the other hand, begged ignorance.

“I don’t know who they are!” she declared, visibly confused.

“They’re football players,” Levy said, coming to the rescue. “Okay, well that’s why,” Ritter laughed, as Siriano stood between them looking at the ceiling, appearing genuinely pained.

Host Pat Sajak then jumped in to provide a bit of context. “Sarah, tell her the whole story with the singer [Taylor Swift] and the thing.”

“It’s the Taylor Swift thing,” Levy said of Travis Kelce’s much-covered romance with the singer. “And sadly it’s the only reason I know who…is it Travis Kelce is his name?”

Siriano added, “I make clothes for a living,” succinctly explaining his own ignorance.

Sajak still accepted the answer despite the contestants’ confusion. It’s unclear if Ritter, Levy, and Siriano were entirely serious, or were just playing cool for the cameras.

It’s worth mentioning that she pronounced the Kelce’s last name as family patriarch Ed Kelce has instructed. Ritter named the brothers with a soft “s” at the end rather than the elongated “e” most people pronounce the name with. Sajak told them he would’ve accepted either pronunciation.

Celebrity Wheel of Fortune airs Monday at 9 p.m. ET on ABC. Episodes stream on Hulu the next day.
