Sum 41 have opened the presale for their upcoming 2024 farewell tour, Tour of the Setting Sum, more than eight months after the pop punk band announced that they were disbanding.

For their final tour, the Canadian rockers will perform across North America, Europe, and Asia starting in Jakarta, Indonesia on March 1, just ahead of the release of the band’s eighth and final album Heaven :x: Hell on March 29. The tour dates in North America will likewise kick off in Rimouski, Canada on Aug. 1 and end on Oct. 5 in Las Vegas.

Presale tickets went live at 11 a.m. EST on Tuesday with general sales beginning on Jan. 19 at 10 a.m.

“There comes a time When it all has to end,” Sum 41 captioned an Instagram video on Tuesday morning, reliving some of the band’s moments from over the past nearly three decades.

Sum 41 first announced plans to split up last May following a final world tour and album release.

“Being in Sum 41 since 1996 brought us some of the best moments of our lives,” the band posted in a statement to X, then Twitter. “We are forever grateful to our fans both old and new, who have supported us in every way. It is hard to articulate the love and respect we have for all of you and we wanted you to hear this from us first.”

“Sum 41 will be disbanding,” the statement continued. “We will still be finishing all of our current upcoming tour dates this year, and we’re looking forward to releasing our final album Heaven :x: Hell, along with a final worldwide headlining tour to celebrate. Details will be announced as soon as we have them.”

“For now, we look forward to seeing all of you skumfuks on the road and are excited for what the future will bring to each of us,” the band added. “Thank you for the last 27 years of Sum 41.”
