First, meet the Fitbit trainers

Roz Mays. NASM-certified Roz The Diva Mays has dedicated many late nights at the gym to becoming a kickass personal trainer, self proclaimed “pole diva”, and educator. She specializes in helping nontraditional athletes overcome gym-timidation through pole dancing, TRX, weight lifting, and mobility work.  Her talents have been featured in The New York Times, ESPN, Glamour, Huffington Post, and other really dope media organizations. When she isn’t half naked and sweaty, Diva’s usually making pancakes with Beyonce and Michelle Obama.

Giles Chapman. A Bay Area native, Giles has been in the fitness industry for over 7 years, helping countless individuals reach their fullest potential through growth and personal development. Growing up in the Bay Area, Giles has always been a part of the sports scene. He eventually went off to play football for the University of Nevada Wolfpack, where he graduated with his BA in Communications before heading out to South Florida to obtain his Master’s Degree in Business Leadership. Giles takes pride in serving others, whether it’s through his youth organization or simply with his two wonderful boys, Harlem (4) and Kingsley (1), his passion and drive speaks for itself.

Alex Johnson. Alex has had a lifelong passion for movement that began at a very young age, which started with football and basketball. He has traveled across the country since the age of 10 playing AAU basketball for the Oakland Soldiers. He credits his mom and cousins for always introducing him to something new and pushing him to get better, which led him to finding himself always surrounded by some of the best athletes in the world. He gained his athletic training knowledge and really began to pay attention to detail through his experience as an athlete in high school and college. After getting in a career-ending car accident, his focus and passion turned to helping others explore and fulfill their individual goals within fitness. Since the age of 18, he’s been helping people level up and include fitness into their life, changing countless lives along the way. “This is what I love to do and I wouldn’t want it any other way,” Johnson says. “Let’s get to work!”

Denise Marie Antoine. Denise Marie Antoine, E-RYT 500, is an African/Asian American (Creole & Korean/Japanese if you’re wondering…), LAbased Yoga and Dance Teacher.  She began her artistic training in Contemporary Modern dance, with Karen McDonald and Classical Ballet, with Stefan Wenta. She performed with Lula Washington’s Youth Ensemble and attended LA County HS for the arts. Upon graduating from LACHSA, she was accepted to The Ailey School, The Boston Conservatory, Tisch, and NYU to study dance. Though she was greatly disappointed to decline acceptances to these institutions, due to lack of financial resources, she eventually found a new path leading to her purpose. Denise transitioned her love for movement to yoga practice and received her E-RYT 500 certification status; she holds additional certifications in Mat Pilates, Trauma Release Yoga, and Reiki Level 1.

As a survivor of an attempted childhood abduction in her hometown of South Central LA, Denise prioritizes physical and emotional wellness practices, investing into the youth and serving survivors of trauma. She has worked with The Yoga Collective, Yoga Bliss, TrifitLA, Unplug Meditation, InnerDimensionMedia.com, Debbie Allen Dance Academy, Forme Life, and is thrilled to be a part of the Fitbit Premium Training Team! Her classes are athletic, fun, and alignment based. She also hosts Trauma Release Yoga events, yoga and meditation workshops and retreats, and has worked as a brand partner with Fabletics.
