Shake Shack Giving Away Sandwiches and Fries for Christmas

Shake Shack is helping customers get a head start on their holiday feasts this year. From now through Christmas Eve on Dec. 24, the beloved burger chain is giving away free fried chicken sandwiches, bacon cheese fries, and their signature milkshakes at locations across the country for all orders over $10. 

Claiming your free food is simple. When using a kiosk in store or ordering online using the Shake Shack app, enter one of three promo codes when prompted. The code “CHICKENLINE” will give you a free Chicken Shack sandwich, “PROPFRY” gives you free bacon cheese fries, and “SHAKESPREAD” leads to a free classic shake. Don’t plan on walking out with an entire meal for free, though, as there’s a limit of one free item per order. 

The deal applies to all standalone Shake Shack locations in the U.S. If you’re looking to use the promotion at a Shake Shack in the airport during your holiday travels, you’re out of luck, as locations in airports, stadiums, travel plazas, and museums don’t count. 

The latest offer is a result of Shake Shack partnering with Barstool Sports’ Pardon My Take podcast to bet on three NFL games last weekend. In the end, the bets paid off and Shake Shack owned up to its agreement by giving out free sandwiches, fries, and desserts to customers. 

It comes months after Shake Shack announced it was tweaking the recipes of some of its menu items, including the Chicken Shack and its famous crinkle-cut fries. What better way to try the newly revamped offerings?
