Ryan Reynolds ‘Leaks’ Photos From ‘Deadpool 3’ Set
Before Deadpool even hit theaters back in 2016, leaks about the movie spoiled parts of the movie for the audience and disappointed some fans. As Ryan Reynolds steps back into his red suit for Deadpool 3, the Canadian actor is getting ahead of any potential news about the movie being released prematurely.
“Deadpool began with a leak. So I’m joining in,” he said in a social media post. “But PLEASE don’t overuse the phrase ‘Deadpool Leaks’ because it might screw up search results if anyone is looking for Deadpool leaks or Deadpool spoilers or perhaps, Deadpool Scoops.”
The actor posted a photo purportedly from the set of Deadpool 3 that showed him and co-star Hugh Jackman speaking to a Predator from the Predator franchise. He went on to share other playfully doctored photos including one with Mickey Mouse and another with Steve Urkel from Family Matters.

Hugh Jackman, who will be reprising his role as Wolverine in the movie, weighed in on Reynolds’ apparent act of kindness for Deadpool fans eager for a sneak peek at the new movie.
“Your manners are impeccable,” he said, noting that his mother raised him right. “Tammy would be proud.”

Reynolds quipped in response that he wasn’t exactly the easiest kid to raise. “Tammy is scarred from MY childhood. Not the other way around,” he said.

His lighthearted X posts came after he made a more serious plea on Instagram about refraining from leaks about the movie. Just a few days ago, leaked photos from the set revealed a character in the movie that Marvel hadn’t unveiled yet.
“Surprises are part of the magic of theatrical movies. It’s important for us to shoot the new Deadpool film in real, natural environments, using practical effects as opposed to making the movie indoors and digitally. Telephoto lenses continue to spoil surprises and create a difficult situation for everyone,” he said.
Deadpool 3 is in theaters July 26, 2024.
