Logan Paul Enlists ‘To Catch a Predator’ Host to Intimidate Rival
The much-anticipated fight between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis is set to go down on October 14. Today, the two MMA fighters met for a heated press conference at Manchester Central in which Paul brought along a very special guest. Dateline’s own Chris Hansen, the host of To Catch a Predator, appeared on stage in a move meant to intimidate Danis and throw him off his game.
Prior to Hansen’s appearance, Paul read Danis the riot act for the bizarre campaign of harassment he waged on Paul’s fiancé, Nina Agdal. Danis has posted nude photos and pornographic videos of the model. Agdal was granted a restraining order against Danis, and she’s currently suing him for a variety of claims related to the harassment.
“He resorted to attacking an innocent bystanding [sic] woman,” Paul said to the audience. “You got over 600 photos of my fiancé on your phone, that’s weird. You’re a stalker, you’re a cyber bully. You’re even a predator. In fact, I brought an expert, cuz we are gonna catch you.”
At this, Danis said incredulously, “What, Chris Hansen?”
The Dateline host then appeared and Danis hopped to his feet. Paul revealed that the host was in fact filming for his own show, Takedown with Chris Hansen, which airs on TruBlu, the streaming service Hansen co-owns. Takedown similarly finds Hansen stopping potential predators in their tracks. It’s unknown if Danis will actually feature on an episode.
Hansen then employed his infamous To Catch a Predator catchphrase, “I’m gonna need you to take a seat right over there,” as he instructed Danis to return to his seat.
“Go pay your taxes, buddy,” the cocky fighter shot back, referring to Hansen’s previous financial trouble.
“I have no issue there, brother. You’re wrong again. I’m doing just fine, son. I’ve got a whole new network,” the host assured everyone.
Paul ended the bit by once again promising that he and Hansen were going to “catch” Danis on Saturday. Whether or not the MSNBC host will be actually in attendance remains to be seen.

After Hansen departed the stage, Paul and Danis were set to enter a cage for a brief media-stoking face-off leading to their event. However, the idea was scrapped after the two began tossing bottles at one another. As a scuffle broke out, Paul was hit in the face and bloodied by a bottle Danis threw.
The duo are due for a weigh-in on Friday, at which point trainers will know how serious Paul’s injury might be.
