Get ready to rock out. Influencer Jake Franklin (aka Jake the Viking) has partnered with Men’s Journal and The Arena Group’s Creator Network to collaborate on exclusive content for the rest of 2023.

The former LSU tight end has made his name across TikTok (3.2M followers) and YouTube (1.77M followers) with videos that show everything from the real house that inspired The Conjuring to him rocking out on his drum kit.

Posts that allow Jake to indulge his penchant for the paranormal, or to show off his true personality with spirited fans at music festivals, are the creator’s favorite to put together. His time behind the camera stoked a further interest in filmmaking. At the moment, Jake says he’s working on a short Halloween fan film which centers around the franchise’s masked murderer Michael Myers.

Jake will be bringing his singular brand of entertainment to Men’s Journal, where he plans to educate viewers on subjects like men’s grooming, cocktail recipes, and more of his favorite topics. His content will be released weekly over the next several months. “I thoroughly enjoy working with companies/brands to create ads/promotional content because it takes me out of my comfort zones,” Jake said. “Essentially, I enjoy a good challenge.”

He’s hoping to use this platform to speak openly with other men about mental wellness. “One thing I hope to achieve with this career is promoting mental health to my following and providing a light in the dark for those who think they are stuck,” Jake said. “I want to show others, especially men, that it’s okay to feel things other than anger, and it’s perfectly okay to ask for help.”
